FYI Design is not all about being creativity…

This is my average week:
Monday 6am-8pm

930-10mtg (yes 3 overlapping at once!)

Friday 6am-TBC
10-1mtg

In-between the meetings I am emailing, redlining drawings, coordinating and producing information. I have deadlines and information to produce, value engineering, coordinate and get out the door for site…..Lunch is 30 mins if possible…..When you have more than 1 project you juggle….because you have too. Every meeting requires minutes, information downloads and actions.

This morning for example I redlined drawings for 4 hours from 6am and then did a page turn on these drawings for the next 3 hours to get a coordinated issue ready for the client submission by the architect and MEP contractors… they are not my drawings but I am responsible for them….. Design is not all about being creative….
