here’s a reality check for all the students going back for their final year ….. You have 2 weeks give or take to road map your final year and the first 6months after graduation….. what do I mean by this?

1. have you spent your 2-3 months wisely? have you revisited last year’s projects, reviewed and critiqued what you did right, where you can improve?
2. have you grown your skills over the summer? what are you taking back to uni that’s new? what skills have you developed? what do you bring to the table that moves you ahead of your classmates?
3. have you road mapped your approach, what you want to do, improve and develop? have you set benchmarks to improve to?
4. have you found someone to chase? who sets the benchmark in your class (attitude, sketching,cad,management?) and how can you get to that level?

Don’t go back to uni in the same place you left it as a year 2 student. Be growing and developing to get ahead of the curve (don’t expect uni to teach you everything!).

You want your final year to run 2 races, your university course expectations and also develop your own skills and be industry ready when you qualify and make yourself more appealing to a potential employer.

Go back and read my first post onwards and this will get you in that race… I have uploaded so much knowledge and industry expectations to get you ready… So what are you waiting for??
