Here’s something for all the graduate job seekers:

1. Last year’s graduates are celebrating 1 year at a their design company
2. Google that company and research them and that design sector, location etc and see if you would like to work there ….
3. Reach out via LinkedIn and say hi, ask them how they find it, what are they working on, do they enjoy it, how far are they along their road map career journey, Are they looking for new graduates?
4. Ask for point of contacts, email addresses, etc
5. Align your folio from the conversation (like to see lots of cad detailing etc as looking for CAD operators!)
6. Send the CV, email, make the phone call, what have you got to lose?

Make something happen rather than just wait for linkedin to post an opportunity and compete against everyone else…..
