I noticed on this group a junior designer posting about recognition for their services from their employers, highlighting their skill sets, etc. I know this student and am proud of their achievements so far.

This is also a valuable lesson about what THEY brought to the table, what THEY offered to improve that company, and most importantly how THEY can up that companies game!!

Rightly so they should be recognised, but more importantly, those looking for employment let that be your lead!!

Yes you want that job to get your foot on the ladder, but as I have always said, to be a good designer you need to be able to SELL your designs, your creativity and most importantly YOURSELF!!

You may not have the experience but you have skills (particularly in the CAD, 3D, Photoshop etc) so SELL those skills to your advantage and demonstrate how THEY need you just as much as you need them!!
