New design briefs are always easier said than done….

New design briefs are always easier said than done. Building your research and thinking outside the box either comes easy or hard (that’s why I have the 4 pillars approach for organisation and client specifics). The secret of taking the research and coming up with a strong concept is best defines by finding your LAUNCH PAD….. that images, detail, pattern, shape, form that everything springs from and grows and develops across your scheme. I am a strong believer in FORM follows FUNCTION, that’s why I make sure my practical aspects are in place first – ergonmics, space association and circulation routes are solid, practical and logical. My services are in place, make sense and buildable…..now all I need is that LAUNCHPAD idea to grow. Yes it is the hardest part, the idea, the design belief that I have to sell but if everything else is in place, the foundations, it’s the last piece of the jigsaw!!!
