On average I deal with 8-12 projects a week. Some are on site, some in handover and aftercare, some in concept, some in preconstruction feasiblity, some in DPP stage.
I have a book for every 2 projects minimum (flip upside down working towards the middle) to manage general specific notes and TO DO lists. Different colours to make it easier to remember.
I then have a general note book that I write lists EVERYDAY of TO DO LISTS that reference back to the other books if need be…… These lists get crossed off or carried over to the next day especially if I’m in mtgs or site visits all day.
I also have a BSL – Bullshit List of things I have to do in that general note book. Really painful time consuming tasks that I cannot avoid so try and do these first to get them out of the way……
