So I posted about a sketch book concept after your FMP to show further design development when sitting with a potential employer….. Then my past posts have all been about taking a standard finish and really looking at material detailing opportunities and finishes to encourage you to really think outside the box and push that design further…..

In an interview having an opportunity to deep dive on a detailed piece of furniture is a great way of showing your design maturity, your FF&E knowledge and approach entwined with your FMP concept and above all your passion to develop your design beyond your college brief criteria….. because you wanted to see how far you could take it!!

Be the master of your own destiny, push your boundaries and really stand out front the crowd when that interview opportunity arises….
