Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make all of the difference and show your knowledge and that your industry ready…..Doors are a classic example.
If I was to look at your design and ask if Door D04 is a left hung or a right hung door….. could you tell me? What’s the easiest way to know?
Simple. Read the door as if you are standing infront of it with the door opening towards you:
If you reach with your left hand, it’s left hung (hinges on left)
If you reach with your right hand, it’s right hung (hinges on right)
Next time you discuss doors, talk about them with an industry standard viewpoint….
