Take the summer to consider your final major project carefully. Have you considered:

1. What design sector you want to work in? ideally your FMP should reflect this as it will demonstrate your abilities and know in that sector and increase your chances of employment

2. Align with to a project or company. Can you take a project from another design company and redesign that interior?

3. What can you demonstrate in your FMP that will really stand out? How much of an extra effort are you prepared to make to show you can demonstrate:

creativity
practicality
understanding of building regs
time management
project management
industry standard approach
buildability
industry ready
industry standard of information
able to work on a live project right away

Spend your summer wisely to grow , develop so you hit the ground running in September. Road map your 3rd yr & FMP to give yourself the best chance of gaining employment (graduating is great but you want that first job asap so really look at that as your end goal!).

What you put in is what you get out so spend your time wisely to get ahead of the curve!!!
