If you are designing a kitchen, teapoint, bathroom, flat, hotel, workspace environment and more, always so an option as a DDA complaint version. If you are designing a residential block, make sure you allow for an option of a flats design and layout to be DDA complaint while maintaining your design ethos and style.

Same with a hotel, make sure you allow for a set number of rooms (vary sizes /types) to be DDA compliant as well as making sure your access routes, facilities like dining areas cater for Disabled visitors.

Even something as simple as a teapoint in a workspace environment, allow for an 800mm high counter, wheelchair access below counter, DDA sink and access to white goods/facilities, low level storage etc.

Demonstrate your knowledge and skillset by making your you design to incorporate the DDA requirements that designers are expected to incorporate in a live project.

Show you are industry ready and stand out from the crowd…
