If you are designing the interior of a large building, either changing it’s purpose or a large %, you should take into account external circulation i.e. staff/guest and more importantly logistics. How people, goods,waste move in and out, security, vehicle movement and parking etc plus ofcourse DDA.

Now this should be part of your brief as it internal/external movement should align. If it’s not part of your brief, do a sketch overlay to suit and have this in your folio as a working progress/indevelopment drawing. This will give you something more to talk about and show yr mindset is really thinking real world approach…
