Even in your local supermarket you will see something new…
1. Cable tray in the background. This is generally known as containment. It runs cabling high level to lights, FCU, BMS etc. Note fire alarm systems have their own cable tray
2. Ductwork running towards the FCU. This pumps air from an air handling unit. Note it’s not connected to the FCU it just pumps air to it via a vent
3. FCU – fan coil unit that has extra ductwork feeding off of it to a nearby grill. It also pumps to further grills in the background via futher circular ductwork
